Enhancing educational opportunities to empower innovation and success

We support programs and events that encourage students to apply curious minds and critical-thinking skills to real-world opportunities. Programs in career training, leadership, engineering, agriculture, health science, and information technology support the growth of Indiana’s workforce and economy.

Build it.

It all begins with our youngest students. Harnessing their enthusiasm and excitement about learning, we support projects and programs to inspire their dreams. This is how Indiana’s next generation of innovators will flourish.

Dream it.

Challenge It.

It culminates with a challenge. The challenge of “learning how to learn” means seeing a student’s confidence grow when they learn a new skill. We have amazing kids here and are inspired by their love of learning. See them learn how to code, how to build, how to problem-solve, how to work together in teams, and how to become leaders is a gift we don’t take for granted. Whether it is to build a robot to compete in VEX Robotics competitions to building a Rube Goldberg Machine to Turn Off a Light, students enjoy a good challenge that allows them to demonstrate their newly acquired skills while having a blast with their friends.

The Governor’s Work Ethic Certificate

The Governor’s Work Ethic Certificate is designed to provide Hoosier employers with job applicants who possess a proven work ethic and to assist Indiana communities in closing the skills gap. Earning this certificate is a way for students to demonstrate that they possess the employability and character skills needed to be successful as they enter post-secondary institutions, apprenticeships, the military, or the workforce.
